August 30, 2005

NEW YORK, New York — Designtex has announced several corporate changes, which took effect earlier in the month.

A new hospitality sales division, led by David Codoluto, has been created to meet the needs of the hospitality industry, according to Tom Hamilton, president of Designtex. ''We've found that Hospitality is a very robust business with its own special needs and requirements. To be really effective, we created a dedicated team that will be focused 24/7 on this market,'' said Hamilton. In his new position, Codoluto will report directly to Hamilton.

Additionally, Leslie Lewitas has been promoted to executive vice president for sales and marketing. In this position, Lewitas will assume leadership over Designtex's North American Commercial Sales Team. As part of Designtex's expanding residential program, Steven Rappos has been appointed to the position of manager of Designtex Home. He will report to Lewitas. Product design will also see a couple of changes with leadership of Jane Wicks, newly appointed director of hospitality and home design and Rich Morrow, director of commerical product design.

Designtex has also made moves to branch out internationally. Earlier this year, Hamilton launched a subsidiary company, Designtex Euro, based in London. Hamilton has also opened a dedicated office in Hong Kong that will cover China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malasia, Singapore, Taiwan and Australia.
